The TEAM is located in Gottingen, Germany. A small spot on the map that is filled with tons of friendly people… until they enter the Lokhalle. The Lokhalle is where we play all of our home games. I wish there was a way to describe how insane these fans are, but even if that was possible you would not understand unless you really experience it. They yell, they scream, and they shout from start to finish. Even after the time runs out the entire crowd stays to sing/chant while the team dances on the court. We are 19-7 in the BBL (the German League), undefeated @ home and 12-3 in the Euro Challenge Cup.
MARCH MADNESS… need I say more. It's that time of the year when fans fill out their brackets, commentators speak about bracket busters, coaches try to think of creative ways to keep their players focused, and players are anxious to play in front of millions.
In a recent song titled "PLAY BALL" Baby said, "And my familia is so priceless". I speak with my parents every Sunday via skype, and every Sunday I come to the same conclusion that parents will be parents. Come to find out that my little rascals aren't doing too bad back in the states; one hitting a game winning three pointer a few weeks back & the other brother receiving his 1st college letter. I am by far the biggest LIL WAYNE fan. If you do not believe me ask anyone that knows me and they will tell you. I have pictures to prove it and I have had plenty of conversations to back up what I'm saying. And if you still do not believe me, my girlfriend would even say so herself. I think that pretty much proves my case. When I got word that Lil Wayne would have to do some time, I said to myself……."self, what crime could I commit so that I could be Wayne's cell-mate?"
Speaking of Lil Wayne, that brings me to my next topic... one of my teammates tried to compare YOUNG MONEY and this little group called slaughter house. I wouldn't label this beef between me and JB, more like a difference of opinion... an opinion that I am right and he is wrong.
